The castle, the old streets, the boats on Lake Garda… everything looks incredible in 4K. You’ll feel like you’re there. Turn on subtitles too, I added some extra context about Malcesine along the way. There’s something different about Malcesine in autumn. The summer crowds are mostly gone, the streets are quieter, and the whole town feels a little slower. I visited on October 28th, with around 15–17°C and plenty of sunshine, which turned out to be a pretty perfect day for walking. Malcesine is one of those places where you don't really need to look for the views. They're just there. Step into the old town and you get narrow stone streets, colorful houses, little cafés and restaurants, flowers around old doorways — and then suddenly Lake Garda appears between the buildings. And above it all is Castello Scaligero, the medieval castle that has become the symbol of Malcesine. It sits right on the edge of the lake, with the mountains rising behind it. It's one of those places that looks good from almost every angle. Down at the old harbor, you get a completely different view of the town. Boats on the water, the colorful waterfront, the castle above the rooftops and the mountains stretching along the lake. And if you look up, there's Monte Baldo, rising high above Malcesine. The famous cable car connects the town with the mountain and some spectacular views over Lake Garda. There aren't many tourists in this video, and that's probably one of my favorite things about filming Malcesine at this time of year. You can actually slow down and enjoy the streets without constantly walking around crowds.
